Mychal Messenger is an ISA Certified Arborist who joined Tree Care Enterprises in 2023, bringing with him years of experience as a climber, including time with Davey Tree. Based in Oregon, Illinois, Mychal has quickly become a key member of the team.
Known for his technical skill and depth of experience, Mychal earned the respect of the production crews almost immediately. He is a highly capable climber with a calm, focused approach to his work, and he sets a high standard for execution in the field.
Mychal's quiet, no-nonsense demeanor is part of what makes him so effective. He leads by example, holds himself and others to a high bar, and approaches each job with seriousness and precision.
He is also one of the top performers in the company's annual climbing competition, regularly competing at the highest level alongside teammates like Matt Richards.
